Our advanced auto calibration system automatically calibrates your gauge on every startup to assure you of the highest degree of accuracy over the entire lifespan of your sensor (no free air calibration is ever necessary). Designed for gasoline applications, this wideband gauge provides the same degree of accuracy and response as the Pro version, but at a reduced cost. Data logging output is included for one wire or two wire systems. Our specially designed O2 sensor and wiring harness are included for ease of installation.

looks very nice, works well
I bought the a/f gauge a month ago , and it looks and works great. It was very easy install , good instructions. I am very happy, and it compliments my factory Mazdaspeed Miata gauges well. I mounted it in my glove box with an Autometer boost gauge , and will be adding water temp, and oil pressure. It looks great when I open the glove box at night. It makes a nice addition to my car. Thanks

Auto Meter gauges everytime
Wanted a AFR gauge to use for portable use between 3 motorcyles to dial in 05 Multistrada, 18 YZ450f supermoto race bike with different elevation tracks and a 17 DR650 with a good ole carby. Had to get bungs tig'd on each bike, battery SAE connections on each to hook up to fused and switched porta dash and viola. Gauge works great, no issues, does react fast to throttle/load changes and was able to get fueling squared away. There are cheaper brands out there, but I just trust Autometer to perform.

I don't know which gauge to get. Is there much of a difference between the Phantom #5779 vs. the Ultra-Lite 4379? Other than weight?
There actually is no difference between the two as it will only come down to cosmetic appearances.

I've got an 85 CJ7 w/258 6 cyl. engine. The original O2 sensor was mounted in the exhaust manifold just above where the exhaust pipe connects (i.e. in a spot common to all cyl.). Would this be a suitable location to for the Autometer wide band monitor?
Thank you for your question. You will want to install the O2 sensor roughly 6-8" past the collector.

Can this kit replace the stock sensor and send a narrow band signal to the stock ecu in my '01 miata, or do i have to install this completely separate from the stock sensor? If I change the ecu, does this kit have a wide band output to another ecu?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this unit can only send a wideband signal: 0v = 10.0, 4v = 17.0

Can this be mounted outside the car on the cowl?
Thank you for your inquiry. We don't advise mounting this gauge in a position where it is exposed to the weather. It is designed to mount inside the car.

Will this meter record a pass ,like drag racing 1/4 mile. If not what do you have that will??
Thank you for your question. It cannot record and playback a pass, however, it does have a 0-4v output that you can run to a data logger or other device to record the readings with. We have some wideband gauges, such as the #4397 which has peak recall you can use to see your max "lean" reading from a run, but we do not have anything that will record entire runs.

can i just buy the guage without the wire harness
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not offer just the gauge head by itself. If yours is having issues, you can send it in to us for service with the information on this form: https://www.autometer.com/media/Service_Form.pdf

Mine only goes form 10 to 16. I'm assuming it is because it's an older model? Can I still get it serviced? Some of the number portions are starting to go out.
Thank you for your question. You can always send in your AutoMeter products for service if they are having issues. We will evaluate them when we receive them and then contact you with what options we have available as far as repairing or replacing your unit as well as any associated costs. The evaluation itself is done for no charge, all you need to do is get the gauge in to us. Any repair or replacement we offer may have an additional cost, however, you can always decline all the options and we will send the unit back to you in the same condition that we received it. The older the unit is, the less likely it is that we can repair it, but we are always willing to look at it and see what we can do. You can find a form with the information for sending in a product for service here: https://www.autometer.com/media/Service_Form.pdf

will the a/f ratio ,wideband, digital gauge part # atm-4379 work with old school engines by welding a bung in the exhust header and making the connection no computer just tuning the carburetor manually. being a digital gauge whats the life span ?
Thank you for your question. Yes, this can be used if you weld in a bung in the exhaust. A lot of factors go into the lifespan and it will vary per application. The gauge has a 1-year warranty but we certainly stand behind it much longer than that. We would expect the gauge to last many years.

Do you sell longer wiring harnesses for this product
Thank you for your question. Yes, harness #5252 is 25ft and works with this gauge.

Does the wideband & gauge illuminate when the cars parking/headlights are turned on ? My gauge works great but this is the 1st time I’ve drove at night & it doesn’t light up like all my other autometer gauges do ?? It’s only about 6 months old also
Thank you for your question. Due to the unique way these gauges are assembled, the placement of the LEDs and the way the circuit board is composed, there is no other form of back lighting besides those LEDs. Unfortunately, the gauge will not illuminate any more than the LEDs on the display.

Is there any way possible that I can buy just a pro comp afr digital gauge I bought one like a year ago and the digits numbers are starting to disappear
Hi Robert, thank you for the question. We only sell our wideband air/fuel ratio gauges as a kit with the harness and sensor. We do service our gauges and you can send in your gauge for evaluation and service. While this form isn't required, this is the type of information you'll want to include along with an invoice or receipt if the product is within or near the 1 year warranty period:

I have this gauge and it wasn't working this year. I got it working yesterday. Asy first it would just flash e02. Eventually it started working but it doesn't seem very accurate. What does e02 mean? Do I need a new sensor?
Thank you so much for contacting us. The E02 code typically means there is a connection issue between the gauge and the sensor. This could be damaged wiring, a pin in a connector that isn't seating properly or can also be caused by using a non AutoMeter oxygen sensor. I would recommend checking the wiring first. If you've got other questions, I strongly recommend contacting out tech team at 866.248.6357, hitting the Chat link at the top of the page or emailing us here:
